James of Pistils & Pollen had a presence on social media sharing his plant knowledge, but came to us with a bigger goal - creating a community of plant lovers. I’ve worked in every angle of his brand, starting with a Masterclass-style introduction to plant parenthood. Not only did we produce the class content, but we also developed a paid ad strategy to get more eyes on the course. We simultaneously took over Pistils & Pollen’s. social media presence across all platforms. My first step was developing a full social strategy, including content buckets, post types and topics to guide our monthly production and posting. Over 2 years, we consistently planned captured, delivered and posted monthly longform Youtube videos, social cut downs, and social-first content. As James’ brand and community has grown, our strategy has evolved to match his new audiences, goals and brand structure.
